1. Who we are

Stonefit is a partnership firm registered in India, operating the website stonefit.in. Our registered address is 9/164, Jeeva Street, Urumandampalayam, G.N.Mills, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641029. Our GSTIN is 33AFZFS6464C1ZI.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, Stonefit is the “data fiduciary” or “data controller” of your personal information.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all information collected through stonefit.in, our mobile experience, customer support channels, and any communication you have with us in connection with an order, return, or enquiry.

3. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
• Order and transaction data: items purchased, order value, payment method (online or Cash on Delivery), delivery status, and return or replacement history.
• Payment data: for online orders, payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net banking credentials. Razorpay shares with us only the transaction reference, status, and the last four digits or UPI handle used.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, timestamps, and identifiers stored in cookies or similar technologies. We collect this through Google Tag Manager and the tags loaded through it.
• Marketing and advertising data: interactions with our advertisements and content on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), and conversion events reported through Meta Pixel.
• Communication data: anything you send us by email, WhatsApp, phone call, or chat, including call recordings if you call our support line.

We do not collect sensitive personal data, such as Aadhaar, PAN, biometric data, or health data, unless you choose to share it with us voluntarily.

4. How we collect information

We collect information when you:

• Browse our website
• Create an account or check out as a guest
• Place an order
• Contact our support team
• Subscribe to promotional or marketing communications
• Participate in surveys, contests, or reviews
• Interact with our advertisements or social media content

5. Why we use your information

We use your information to:

• Process and deliver your orders
• Verify payments and prevent fraud
• Arrange reverse pickup and process returns, replacements, and refunds
• Send you order updates, tracking links, and delivery notifications
• Respond to your queries and complaints
• Improve our website, products, and customer experience
• Send you promotional communications, but only if you have opted in or where permitted by law
• Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations, including GST, TDS, and accounting requirements

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Razorpay, for payment processing, fraud prevention, and refund settlement.
• Logistics partners such as couriers and aggregators, for delivery and reverse pickup.
• Google, through Google Tag Manager and tags loaded via GTM, for analytics, performance, and advertising measurement.
• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Meta Platforms Inc., through Meta Pixel, for advertising measurement, retargeting, and conversion tracking on Facebook and Instagram.
• Technology providers that host our website, send emails or SMS, provide chat support, or store data on our behalf.
• Government or law enforcement authorities, when required by law or valid legal process.
• Auditors, advisors, or a potential buyer, in the event of a business restructuring, merger, or sale.

Some of these recipients, including Meta and certain Google services, may process your data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we rely on the contractual and organizational safeguards those providers maintain to protect your information.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart, measure traffic, and personalize content. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout from working.

Our site uses Google Tag Manager as a tag management system. GTM itself does not collect personal data, but it allows us to deploy and manage other tags on stonefit.in. Depending on your consent choices, GTM may load:

• Meta Pixel, which sets cookies and reads device and browsing information to measure ad performance, build retargeting audiences, and report conversions to Meta. Meta may use this data in line with its own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics 4, if and when deployed, to measure site traffic and user behaviour in aggregate.
• Google Ads conversion tags, if and when deployed, to measure advertising performance.

Schema Markup (JSON-LD structured data) is also present on our product and other pages. Schema Markup is not a tracking technology and does not collect personal data. It exists to help search engines such as Google understand product information such as name, price, availability, and reviews. You can view it as page source if you wish.

When you first visit stonefit.in, you will see a cookie banner that asks you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time through our cookie settings link in the footer. Non-essential tags, including Meta Pixel, will not load until you give consent.

Section 7A — Consent and your choices

• You may accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner.
• You may withdraw consent at any time through the same cookie settings.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising from Meta by adjusting your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
• You may opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

8. Data retention

We retain your information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Order and invoice data is retained for at least 8 years to comply with Indian tax and corporate law. Marketing data is retained until you opt out. Support records are retained for 24 months.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of data we are not required to retain
• Withdraw consent for marketing or optional processing
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of incapacity

To exercise these rights, write to support@stonefit.in with the subject line “Data Request” and a description of your request. We will respond within 15 days, or 30 days for complex requests, in line with applicable Indian data protection law.

10. Children’s privacy

Stonefit is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, contact support@stonefit.in so we can delete it.

11. Cross-border transfers

Some of our service providers, including Razorpay, Meta, and Google, may process or store data outside India. Where this happens, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with Indian law, including the contractual commitments these providers make to protect your information. 

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted employee access, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
